Sasha Yakovleva is a Toronto-based artist whose work brings a contemporary edge to realistic painting. Specializing in acrylic and oil mediums, Sasha explores themes of portraiture, photorealism, colour psychology, landscapes, and memory. Each piece invites viewers to delve into societal issues and personal narratives through vibrant and thought-provoking compositions.

Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting at OCAD University, Sasha is in her third year of study. She integrates photo documentation and digital tools into her practice, blending traditional methods with modern techniques to push the boundaries of realism.

Sasha’s work has already garnered attention in the art world, with features in exhibitions like Face Off at the Fourth Floor Ada Slaight Gallery in Toronto. Her commitment to her craft and unique perspective make her a rising talent in the Canadian art scene.
